We are currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the project team.
We’re looking for a quantitative social researcher with excellent statistical skills and experience in the processing and analysis of secondary survey data. Ideally the post-holder will have knowledge of life-course or time-series analysis, and have an interest in the following fields, with a deeper understanding of at least one of them: work and employment, youth studies, education, gender inequalities.
This post is for 12 months to work on Work Package 1 (WP1) of the study which involves the use of existing (quantitative) data to map young women’s working lives and trajectories. The role will involve the processing and analysis of secondary data to map patterns and changes over time in young people’s engagement with work while studying and post-studies. There will be opportunities to contribute to all aspects of the study, including attending project meetings, communicating findings and shaping the ongoing agenda of this and other work packages.
Based at City, University of London, you will work directly with Professor Rachel Cohen (WP1Lead).
The role is a 12 month position, available from 1 May 2023. An alternative date may be possible, by negotiation.
